Today, the moon will perfectly align between the Earth and the sun, casting a shadow upon our planet. The next total solar eclipse visible from the United States won't happen until 2044.
The solar eclipse is an exhilarating phenomenon where the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, partially or completely obscuring the Sun’s light.
Our school is operating on the regular schedule, and our staff will be discussing the eclipse with the students. It is crucial to remember not to look directly at the sun during the eclipse without protective eyewear to avoid permanent eye damage.
